YONGNUO YN-622C-TX Transmitter + YN-622C Reciever

Hey there,
Let me preface this by saying I'm in no way a "pro" photographer and don't have the money or the sponsorship to buy/get new products.
Any review I do of products, is from me buying them with my own money.
With that said, this product is just wow. It's low cost means it is affordable for any beginner, amateur to pro photographer. I've paired this up with low budget Neewer HSS and speed lights with no issues.
I'm shooting with a Canon T7i(saving for a Sony A7Riii +Lenses).
The YONGNUO YN-622C-TX just works. E-TTL, manual, HSS, everything. Setting groups and channels and everything else with this transmitter was very user friendly, I didn't even read the manual, that's how easy it was to get started.

Now, the construction of it isn't the greatest. It feels slightly on the cheap side, but what do you expect for the price? The screen will scratch easily unless you're careful, so don't go throwing it into your bag and you'll be fine, or get a cheap screen protector for a phone and cut to size. This thing is very low profile and very light. I haven't had enough time with it to test the battery life yet. But while we're on the subject of batteries, the compartment seems like it should be for AAA's, but it takes AA's. The unit itself doesn't actually tell you what kind of batteries it takes, although I'm sure the instructions do(still haven't read them yet). The LCD is nice and bright, buttons nice and stiff so they provide a good tactile feel when pressing them, and also have a good click sound that isn't high pitched, it's just loud enough to to hear but not so everyone around can hear. I'm not talking about a digital sound, I'm talking about a physical button press sound.

The LCD has a great battery indicator although I would have liked to see how much life is left in the receiver as well since there is some real estate to add battery levels for a few of the receivers you'd be getting.
I will be updating this review once I have more time with it. So keep an eye out on the site for updates.

I got mine from Amazon.ca, here is the link to the it, I have no affiliate code: YONGNUO YN-622C-TX Transmitter + YN-622C Reciever Kit e-TTL LCD Wireless Flash Controller Transmitter Trigger for Canon
